Hello and welcome to episode 63 of the GameOverCast.

Welcome back to the regular show after the Gamescom fun, featuring Radarhead, Mr P Gibson (back to save the day), Ninazu and Major Tom.

Whilst in the usual format we still have a lot of hilarious stories and excitement to discuss from the worlds largest festival of gaming!

Find out what the acronym S.P.A.Z. means in the games we have been playing, plus we have also dabbled in Earth Dense Force where you get to stamp on ants(?!) and the new Toy Soldiers game.

N-n-news finds its way back to Ubisoft rethinking the drm in From Dust, the Deus Ex line of clothing and how crap and the Call of Duty glasses...

No quiz, but that is because there are EPIC interviews for the developers of Mass Effect 3, Dishonored, Colonial Marines and Batman Arkham City. You do not want to miss these highly anticipated previews! Also a quick overview of how Dark Souls is shaping up from Radarhead.

One upcoming new release is so big that all other games may as well unrelease themselves for the next few days, will you be playing anything apart from Deus Ex this week?

A couple of entertaining emails to finish off with we want lots more next week please!

Pre gamescom special

Hello and welcome to The Pre-Gamescom Special episode of GameOverCast!

This special show is brought to you by Mike (Radarhead) Barton, Debbie (Weefz) Timmins from video games blog The Average Gamer, Chris (Kropotkin) O'Regan of the SHFTS podcast and Sinan (Shoinan) Kubba, freelance journalist and host of the yet another podcast, Big Red Potion.

In this pre-gamescom episode we discuss our expectations of this week's European trade show for the video games industry, Gamescom. We discuss the developers, the games and the platforms we are looking forward to seeing. We also question Gamescom's place in the gaming convention world and whether it gets a deserved buzz, or if the buzz is lacking.

This show is part of a two (maybe three) part series of shows regarding Gamescom. The next definite show will be after the trade show closes next week, where we discuss the same points covered in the this one with gift of hindsight. If you're lucky we might even find the time to get together over a German sausage and beer to do a mid-week catch-up. Prost!

Hello and welcome to episode 62 of the GameOverCast.

This week the lineup is unchanged for the first time in a long time, so the show is brought to you by Radarhead (Mike Barton), PjBling (Figure of Hate), Danny Palmer (Destroyer of Worlds) and Ninazu (Pink and Sticky).

Ninazu learns the lesson once again that lots of alcohol may impair your gaming ability and never ever go on xbox live chat whilst in this state...

Find out if we enjoyed Brink when it was free to play for a weekend, Danny discovers the addictive nature of Game Dev Story whilst Radarhead gets to play God in From Dust.  Lots of folk seem to be playing Torchlight again with Diablo 3 news every week can they not wait?  Finally we have an odd conversation about loose sex with the one sheet expansion?!

Bethesda dominate the news with their antics both good and bad we talk about Battlefield 3 pre orders and London riots being blamed on violent games yet again inducing a RAGE moment.  Some silly sausage has actually passed the 600k gamer score on xbox live which sounds like a lot of effort.

The epic quiz returns and is about famous characters from games based on what they have said, special voices included!

Lastly the emails this week have us in hysterics as we asked for hatemail for pjbling and we damn well got it, more next week please!

Stay tuned for the Gamescom special podcast coming here soon.

Hello and welcome to episode 61 of the GameOverCast.

This week the show is brought to you by Radarhead (Mike Barton), PjBling, Danny Palmer (Destroyer of Worlds) and Ninazu who returns from holiday times.

There is no Gibson as the ghost of Kinect finally has driven him into a frenzy and he is hiding under his bed in fear.

Danny the roving games reviewer is not allowed to tell us anything about the Deus Ex launch event he went to so PJ decides to vent his rage at him throughout the episode!

World of Tanks is finally discussed, I wonder if it really is any good?  We revisit Alan Wake and Ghost Recon plus discuss the luscious lullabies from Bastion.

Gamers really are a generous bunch and the humble indie bundle is back this year to help out those who need it and is raising a load of cash for great causes.

Diablo 3 gets some controversial release news too, have Blizzard lost the essence of what Diablo is about and do Ubisoft have the DRM answer tied up at last?

No quiz but interesting emails which spark off some debate and a mini subject of the week to finish: Which platformer hero would you be and why?
